Advertiser 4.0 has quite an extensive feature list. Although the program is relatively large when installed (approx 600K), it remains one of the easiest Perl programs to install and run on your web server. Most of the initial configuration is automatic, and that is probably Advertiser 4.0's greatest feature.
This is a script that allows you to either display or add classified advertisements. You can have as many categories as you like. The classifieds are stored in text files, each text file containing all the classifieds for a particular category. The classifieds are displayed in table format, and you might want to experiment with the look, especially when you get around to customizing the script.
Simple Classifieds is a very easy to use classified ad script. It may not have the ability for users or people to delete or modify their ads but it still does work.
The e-Classifieds Free Edition allows you to quickly set up your own classifieds section using easily configurable categories and other variables. In fact, just one program file controls all operations. The only other files to install are a counter file and a few graphics files. All pages are generated dynamically using your settings, so there is no need to manually edit any HTML files. Your users will be able to post and delete their own ads. The administrator can delete any ad posted by any user and can even delete entire categories at a time. In addition, the Free Edition shares the pleasing appearance and easy-to-use interface of our commercial versions.
The script can be set to limit the number of ads so old ads drop off of the list. It also sends the ad via e-mail to the keeper of the ads and the client.
