Prospector is a online calendaring program that is similar to those found at netscape and yahoo. It has been written to run under mod_perl and use an SQL database using DBD/DBI. It is currently being developed with postgreSQL.

This calendar automatically displays the current month, (although buttons also allow you to move back a month, forward a month or to any year between 1970 and 2070!!). All entries are shown as headlines below each day. Click on these and a small pop-up window opens containing more details. You can - if you wish - enable an admin option so that you can veryify entries before they appear on the calendar.

RemindMe is a simple program that lets users sign up to receive auto-reminders by email about a date they choose at a designated interval before that date. Users can select whether to be reminded only once, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-anually, or every year, and whether to be reminded any number of days in advance of that date, from one day to one year. Users may also select an option to view, edit, or delete any pending reminders.
